Cincinnati Area::Southeast Indiana Event Photographer:: Benefit Walk for Hunter
A couple of weeks ago, we had a benefit walk/auction for baby Hunter and his parents. Here’s how the flyer for the auction read:
“Hunter was born November 22, 2010 with a disorder which is still unknown. He has craniofacial anomalies of the skull and face bones. In short, Hunter has a short bottom jaw, underdeveloped eyes, no ears, cleft lip, and cleft palate. In addition, he has short femur bones and his hips are displaced. Hunter’s short bottom jaw makes it difficult for him to breathe and eat by mouth. He breathes through a tracheal tube that was inserted at birth, and he gets his nutrients through a gastric feeding tube inserted two and a half weeks after birth. Hunter has hearing aids where his ears would be to aid development of his hearing and speech. In the six weeks that Hunter was at Children’s Hospital after birth, doctors performed three surgeries. He has many more surgeries slated over time…”
