The first part of his newborn session is here,
and just when you thought there couldn’t be even MORE cuteness to see,
I bring you part two. Yes, those are little handcuffs.
And, yes, that is a mini-donut. This next set of photos is why I choose to shoot lifestyle newborn sessions vs. the backdrops and props and hats and babies in buckets and babies in baskets and babies all posed and propped. Don’t get me wrong – I love those photos, and it takes a talented photographer to make those happen. But I love these photos more. These photos are my heart in photography – these are the days and the moments that pass so quickly with newborns. These are the moments that mommas don’t always get to see (like when momma is taking a well-deserved nap), and these are the moments that daddy doesn’t photograph himself in.
THESE ARE THE MOMENTS, PEOPLE. THESE ARE THE MOMENTS. Baby Boy:: thanks for being born. You’ve changed lives already! You have my heart, and just about everyone else’s that we know. You come from good people, and we are all so thankful to have you here. Your momma and daddy are the best – these photos make my heart want to burst into a million sweet little pieces because I can see how loved you are, and I love that.
