Shaun and Avery’s day was EVERYTHING.
It was gorgeous and glamorous, absolutely beautiful;
it was sweet and charming, with so many perfect handmade details;
it was classic and timeless, and filled with vintage details.
Seriously, it was everything.
And then, add in a dashing groom, and a breathtaking bride,
and this was the BEST DAY EVER.
Shaun and Avery opted for a “first look” –
it was a sweet and beautiful moment that allowed for ample portrait time for the two of them.
They had their wedding in the gardens of the Creation Museum in Petersburg, Kentucky.
And I am officially IN LOVE.
Seriously, I could have shot there for days and still not have seen it all.
They did such an awesome job in working with a timeline –
I don’t think we were behind once the entire day.
Because of this, after the ceremony, just as that golden, yummy Kentucky sunlight showed up,
we had pleeeeenty of time for some just married photos.
When brides and grooms value their photos in this way,
it makes for BEAUTIFUL results. :)
I’m telling you, there is NOTHING like a Kentucky sunset.
The above two photos are almost straight out of the camera –
I sharpened them up just a touch, but that incredible and warm glow?
TOTALLY AS-IS, not even kidding.
I know, it’s ridiculous.
You know what else is ridiculous?
WHEN A BRIDE IS THIS FREAKING AMAZINGLY GORGEOUS.
Ahem, I mean, she’s beautiful. #amiright?
Avery and Shaun::
thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you.
I can’t say it enough.
I had FUN at your wedding – your day was most definitely one of the best I’ve had in my career.
And YOU TWO. You are two of the greatest. I love that I can call you friends. :)
