I can’t believe I’m already writing a four-month post. This little man of ours is a joy and a light, and it’s hard to believe he’s been in our arms for four months. But, at the same time, it’s hard to believe he hasn’t been here forever.
This month has been a busy one for our mr. man. He took his first road trip, he’s been trying to sit up on his own, and he loves standing (with assistance, of course). He has been on a great routine (including consistently sleeping all night, hallelujahpraisethelord), and has been sitting at the table with us in his high chair. It won’t be long and he’ll be diving in to dinner with us, as well.
He’s a smiley boy and is full of giggles, which he gives away pretty freely (and we all LOVE IT). He loves his hands, and he’s slowly learning how to control them. He also loves to be on his back and to wiggle and scoot, including wiggling his way across the floor. There have been a handful of times he’s rolled over and scooted himself under a chair when he was supposed to be doing tummy-time. He also loves wiggling through bathtime, laying on his back, aggressively practicing his swimming techniques (which includes me chasing him around the bathtub). :)
Every month that passes is another month of doing what no one thought he’d be able to do. Every roll he takes, every push up… and just look at that head control. We are thankful for every milestone and every minute.
