This was my first “Louisville wedding,” as a Louisville wedding photographer. AND. I couldn’t have asked for a better one to begin with. Justin and Olivia not only had one of the sweetest wedding days, but they also had one of the most fun days I’ve been a part of – this wedding party knew HOW to party! My second shooter, Danielle, and I had an awesome time hanging out with this group!
Oh. AND THIS DRESS. Olivia got ready at the Hilton Garden Inn, and it was the PERFECT choice. This hotel is funky and modern with TONS of natural light…. I’m in love. Justin and Olivia chose to save their first look for the moment she walked down the aisle – this worked beautifully since they also chose to allow plenty of time before the ceremony for photos and BREATHING. I can’t stress enough how important it is to build in time to ENJOY your day. We were able to really take advantage of Olivia’s bridal portrait time, and never felt rushed, which allowed for some of the most BEAUTIFUL bridal photos EVER. OLIVIA. THOSE EYES. Having your girls around to make you laugh? Never a bad plan. : ) And you know you’ve chosen the right bridesmaids when they don’t even blink and risk public indecency : ) to shield you from a vehicle that MIGHT be carrying your groom (don’t worry, it wasn’t. but this was still a perfect moment). A few more bridal portraits because, again, TIME.
Oh, time, you gorgeous, wonderful thing.
You and sunshine really do make this photographer’s heart of mine happy. : ) Olivia: I LOVE THESE. I love how you giggled through this set because of the crazy instruction I was giving. And I love that you TRUSTED ME. And I just love you. End of story. : ) The Olmsted is where the wedding and reception were held, and it was the most beautiful setting – the grounds are gorgeous, and it was like it was MADE for this wedding day.
The Olmsted really is just the most beautiful wedding venue. I LOVE THESE PHOTOS.
I could have stayed under this tree forever.
Like, literally built a house and lived in this sunset for the rest of my life. J + O…
there are just no words, but I’ll try anyway. : )
You two made it easy and SO MUCH FUN –
your families are our favorites, your friends are the best.
THANK YOU for having us along for this part of your story!!
