It is hard to believe she’s turning three. When I took her two-year photos last year, I had no idea what was going to unfold over the next 365 days. 2019 has been the hardest year of our lives, but she has been such a light for us this year.
She is such a joy, always making us smile.
This year, our girl loved spending as much time as she could outside. Between park dates and pool time in the backyard, we were outside every day that we could be. When we weren’t outside, we were at the library or at Bass Pro Shops watching the fish, of which she affectionately named a handful.
She also became a social butterfly this year, making so many new friends at church. She loves spending time with people, and I am so thankful to see her little circle grow bigger and bigger. Spending time with her friends is easily her favorite thing.
Some of her favorite things right now include sloths, so a big trip to the zoo is planned for her big day. She is also still a huge fan of puzzles, and she’s graduated to mastering jigsaw puzzles that even her daddy and I struggle to put together. She also loves doing sticker “activities,” and she’s learned so much from them.
She loves treats and snacks, and she is always on the lookout for either. She loves watching movies, especially Gnomeo and Juliet, Moana, and Toy Story. She loves to dance along to the music, copying the moves she sees the characters on whatever she is watching.
She is more beautiful every day, both inside and out. She is generous and always wanting to help others, and I am always learning something from her. I am just so thankful she is ours.
