this is what love looks like, pt I

I’ve been doing this for almost 15 years. I’ve been given the gift of telling family stories … photographing babies as they grow, parents as they love. I’ve had the privilege to be a part of lives and celebrations filled with so much joy. There have been many moments I’ve photographed with tears in my eyes. But nothing has brought me to the feet of Jesus quicker than this.

I shared on my instagram and in this post more about the days leading up to Calla’s homecoming celebration.

“Reality would shatter my optimism, but I would realize that my positivity was only a cheap substitute for true hope anyway.”

I had no idea what was in store for me last July. I would give anything to change this story, but I’m beyond thankful to help tell Calla’s story to the world.
